Looking for a AirDroid Parental Control alternative?

AirDroid Parental Control alternative
Boundaries without the surveillance.

AirDroid Parental Control leans toward monitoring: notification sync, call and SMS checks, and an SOS that can share ambient audio. Some parents look for an alternative that sets clear rules and keeps the family safe without watching everything.

Why parents look beyond AirDroid Parental Control.

A lot of monitoring

AirDroid documents notification sync, social content detection, SMS keyword checks and call history on Android. Not every family, especially with teens, wants that much visibility.

Device caps by billing term

AirDroid’s monthly plan covers 2 devices; the quarterly and yearly plans cover 10.

iPhone needs Supervision Mode

Several iPhone controls, such as app blocking, per-app limits and category web filtering, need Supervision Mode.

Before you change apps

If you switch from AirDroid Parental Control.

  1. Talk with your child about what changes. Moving from monitoring to rules changes what you see.
  2. Write down your current limits, downtime and blocked apps so you can rebuild them.
  3. Run FamilyAtlas on one Android phone for a week before removing AirDroid.
  4. AirDroid needs an admin code to remove; follow its own removal steps, then cancel the plan before it renews.
