Looking for a Net Nanny alternative?

Net Nanny alternative
When the filter isn’t the whole job.

Net Nanny is a long-standing web filter. Parents look for an alternative when their child has an Android phone, or when they want per-app limits and extra-time requests rather than total internet hours.

Why parents look beyond Net Nanny.

Android not listed

Android was not among the platforms we found in Net Nanny’s documentation when we checked. Its location features are documented for iOS.

Internet hours, not app limits

Net Nanny sets daily internet hours that add up across all of a child’s devices. We did not find per-app time limits.

No requests for more time found

We did not find a way for a child to ask for more time in Net Nanny’s documentation.
