FamilyAtlas is designed for families whose routines extend from Android phones to TVs and consoles. Available Android controls and HomeControl let you manage app time and home internet access within one family product.
FamilyAtlas’s iPhone controls use Apple’s Screen Time framework and remain Preview pending the acceptance and distribution checks. HomeControl manages internet access, not offline device use. Family SOS contacts your family, not emergency services.

Free and built into Apple devices; Family Sharing covers up to six people. Crash detection needs iPhone 14 or later or Apple Watch Series 8 or later. Screen Time manages Apple devices only, not a TV or console on your home network.

FamilyAtlas has these on at least one platform (including preview), and we did not find them in Apple Screen Time & Family Sharing’s official documentation. That is not proof Apple Screen Time & Family Sharing lacks them; check with the vendor if one matters to you. Rows we did not check are left out.
Apple Screen Time & Family Sharing’s official sources list these, while FamilyAtlas does not have them, or has them only in preview where they are fully offered.
Test a school resource, a blocked app, a normal YouTube video and a Shorts video where supported. Check what happens away from home, without connectivity and after a permission changes. A feature name alone does not establish reliable coverage on your device.
